A small town police department sergeant is awakened because the chief is missing. As his investigation progresses it becomes apparent that the chief was murdered. Not only that but the chief had been abusing his authority and hurting the towns people in ways that he and his fellow officers could never have imagined. It’s up to the sergeant to keep the department together, solve the murder, help the town heal and move on.
